Q1: How to choose between SPI and RGB interfaces?


A: The two interfaces meet different application requirements:


SPI interface features a small number of pins (usually 3–4 data lines), ideal for scenarios where MCU pin resources are limited and refresh rate requirements are low, such as displaying static images or slowly updating data.


RGB interface enables parallel data transmission with a higher refresh rate, suitable for displaying dynamic content, videos or rapidly changing graphics, but it requires more pin resources.


Q2: Why does the backlight require a relatively high voltage of 8.7–10.2V?


A: This module adopts a backlight design with multiple LEDs connected in parallel. A relatively high voltage requirement usually means the backlight consists of multiple LEDs connected in series, which can deliver uniform and sufficient brightness. In actual use, a dedicated backlight driver circuit is required; it cannot be directly connected to a 3.3V logic power supply.


Q3: Does the module’s operating temperature range meet industrial application requirements?


A: Yes. The operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C covers the requirements of most industrial environments. For more extreme environments (such as outdoor severe cold or high-temperature workshops), we can provide a wide-temperature version (customization required) that meets the special requirements of -40°C to +85°C.
